THE MORE YOU SERVE, THE HAPPIER YOU'LL BE

Well hello everyone.

This week has been great as usual. This week we went and caroled at Fairview Estates. It was Elder Heppler and I went and joined the crowd and started to sing with them. One older lady said off pitch.HAHAHA she was funny. When we were done we had passed around these bells and I got to go in the middle and shared a brief speech on why we go out and what were doing this Christmas season. That wasn't the only service project that my companion and I did this week. We also went to Salvation Army and put out the toys so that the adults can pick out toys for there children. There were so many toys🐨.  We also went to Southboro and Northboro to Coral to some less active and non member referrals that were given to the sisters. So the sisters and me and my companion went and caroled to these people. We went to this non members house that the sisters have been doing service for awhile. We started singing to the non member couple then the husband started playing guitar while we were singing. It was really funny he was in his 80s.  That was all the service we did this week. Besides that we saw Abraham almost everyday this week . He is gonna get baptized on the 31st . Last night had dinner with the Billiters , lynn ,Tony, and there friend doug. The Lynn and the Billiters gave us awesome presents.
Well with all my emails I will end with my testimony. This Christmas season we have shared a lot of messages about service and serving others. I feel like in our society we serve more when it is been brought to our attention like Christmas .  I understand that Christmas is a time to fully remember our savior and his birth and the example he set while he was on earth. He would constantly give and never receive. Now should we only desire to be Christlike on Christmas? Should we only serve and give on Christmas? now I am not talking about giving presents .I'm talking about giving up ones self for another. This should be a constant 365 days a year commitment. We as members made that commitment when we entered into the waters of baptism. Service others Is a beautiful thing. I promise all of you that as you constantly try to remember the savior everyday you will serve more and when you serve more you will be happier, this I promise you all.
Love ya'll

ELDER DALSASSO LEARNS HOW TO CHANGE A TIRE

Whats up, so this last week a lot of things happened. So we had Christmas conference. We had talks from The APs and President and Sister Miller. Then it was a big Testimony meeting. Afterwards we ate and then headed to the the temple. I did initiatories , An endowment session, and to finish it off i did some dealings. It was AWESOME! The day after was a little slow. We did weekly planning and did some stop bys. But that day was wicked cold. It got down to 9 degrees. For our last stop by we did we went to Sister billiters house. She told us to wait until 8 to meet her friend Tracey . So we waited and made cookies with sister Billiter and tracys kid because Sister Billiter was babysitting that night. She got there and we shared a mormon message on Christmas and she liked it. Afterwards Sister Billiter gave us 3 more Referrals. It was AWESOME. Anyways we start leaving it's almost 9 :30 so i kind of speed a little bit and i need to turn around. There was this car behind me so i speed just a bit more and i hit this curb and then i turn around and the alignment is terrible. I told Elder Phillipsen to go and Check the tire and we got a Flat.It was on the front right tire.  So we drive down to sister Billiters house and we park our car right in front of her house. Now i have never changed a tire and my companion hasn't either. We don't really even know where we should put the jack. My companion said he thinks he know where it should go. So we put it right behind the tire. Start raising the jack and the jack starts to tilt . Now i'm trying to unbolt the bolts. There frozen and i can't un bolt them. its like 11 degrees out side at this point. Were just freezing outside. Each time i try to torque the wrench the jack starts to tilt more and more. So i give up cause the car is gonna fall on top of my arm. So we called sister Billiter and we left our car there at her house and we came back the next day to try again. Well it snowed a lot and it was wicked cold so now i'm changing this tire in the snow. We managed to get the flat tire off and put the Spare on. We took it to firestone so they could put a new tire on and fix our right tail light. So we went and did some shoveling with the sisters for an hour to an hour and a half.  That day was wicked interesting but everything turned out ok. So last week i mentioned Abraham the Brazilian guy who showed up at church. So we taught him after the sisters english class on saturday. We taught him the Restoration and set a date with him for January 14th! He is so golden. We're thinking about moving his date to December 30th. So that was my week.

Now i know that Heavenly Father gives us opportunities on earth to grow and to learn from our mistakes. The plan of salvation will only work if we make mistakes and learn from them. As we grow and learn from our mistakes , our trials , let us be joyful for the things that we have learned from these hard times. Not only should we be thankful for our mistakes but we should be grateful for our loving heavenly father who is understanding and who is willing to help us as long as we call him. This is my testimony to you. Love you all

The best Leader is the best Follower

What's up?

So this week has been good. We're going to be trying new ways to find and teach people.  We're going to be working a lot with our members. We have a lot of members willing to work with us and find those who being prepared for us, so that's been going well. We have been working hard to find people.
One of the many Tender Mercies God has given us this week is giving us members that were perfect to help teach Cheryl and Nick. Usually we have a splits on Tuesday and Thursday, but none of the members on that list could come . So we went on the computer and the ward directory and I just started to call all these people. I literally called all the people I could think of . So I prayed and Heavenly Father Blessed us with 2 members who were perfect in helping us teach Cheryl and Nick. Nick like I have said in the past is ready to go . But Brother Colson and I resolved all of Cherly's concerns. Now we just need to help her gain a testimony of the Book Of Mormon. Lynn situation is still tricky. We are trying our best to figure out a way were she can get Baptized and still be with her boyfriend. Besides them not a lot is going on. We did have this guy names Abraham come to church yesterday. Our Ward mission leaders wife introduced us to him. He is originally from Brazil But he moved to Hawaii and then work on the temple in Idaho and started meeting with the missionaries. He moved out her and found our church and payed $25 for an uber. He said that he would like to be taught in English so were gonna see him hopefully this Friday.

Well like always I will end by bearing my testimony. I have been pondering on my leadership and the role I have as a District Leader/Trainer. If I 'm being the best example. What could I do to be the best Leader. Well The best Leader is the best Follower. If you want to help those around and help them and be a great leader you must be a great follower. The greatest leader on this earth was the greatest follower. He followed and did the will of his Father. Knowing that by doing so he would feel the pains and afflictions of all mankind . But he knew that his Father wanted the best for him and for all of us. I hope to fully accept and appreciate being the last priority. May we all follow the example of Jesus Christ and become better. Love

"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind"

Hello!

Well tomorrow I officially hit my 8 month mark. Feels like yesterday when I first got off the plane. Anyways today is the first day we actually got snow. So Its getting pretty chilly. We helped a member who is moving to the house literally right next to his house. Told him its getting pretty chilly out here. He said this is considered warm. It was 39 degrees outside. Then He told us that February is when it really gets bad. So we have something to look forward to besides Lynns Baptism of course.
This past week we did a lot of stop bys. Just trying to work with members and trying our best to see our Investigators multiple times a week. Well Lynn isn't an Investigator. She wants us to call her a seeker. A seeker of truth. Jeez I I Love Lynn. But we did a lot of stop bys. There was one point were we had no clue what to do. My son had the brilliant idea to pray and ask for guidance. So we did and the thought came into my head that we have to go see Ann. Elder Asay(former ZL) and I tracted in to Ann. We haven't been able to see her for awhile. So we knocked and she was home and we got to teach her about the Restoration. She had questions on which Church is true. Now next time we go over were gonna try to extended a baptismal date. This actually happened twice. We prayed and I had the impression to go to the Amollos . They are this less active family that we were trying to activate /teach sister Amollos daughter. When we came over she explained to us how she needs church and that her new years resolution si for her to go to church every Sunday. We were stoked to her that. Also saw Cheryl and Nick and taught them the Law of Chastity. That's always a fun lesson😅 But they are willing to live it. I taught her with Elder and Sister Marison . They are the Elderly missionaries who just joined my District.  Then Elder Phillipsen taught  Nick with Brother Rose our Ward Mission Leader. As of right now  there baptismal date is for the 17th of December. Elder Phillpsen wants us to buy a matching tie for every baptism we have. Then I will probably have Cheryl and Nick sign the back of my tie .
But anyways I would like to end with my testimony. I have recently been trying to work on my Humility . Knowing that I wouldn't be where I'm at now without Heavenly Father. God brought us to Ann and the Amollos. He is consistently waiting on us being humble enough to ask him what should we do . Sometimes our pride will get in the way of us  achieving true happiness. I know that true happiness is following Jesus Christ. So I am willing to be a last priority. Matthew 22: 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
After this I will take care of myself. It won't be easy but it will be worth it.
Love you all.

Miracles in Framingham

P-DAY! Well I gave birth to great missionary Elder Phillipsen.HAHAHA I am loving training right now. He is from Payson Utah and he just graduated this last summer. He is 19 years old and he just barley graduated this last May . He was waiting a while to get his mission call but now he is here. He was Captain on the debate team so he already kind of knew how to teach. This week in our first 12 week program were learning a lot of Fundamentals like revelation through church attendance or teach people not lessons. So his father(me) showed up super late... So transfer day was super hectic. We waited at our apartment until 12:30 to grab Elder Roughan (new Spanish Elder who came in) and take him with us to go drop off Elder Bagley in Revere. His Companion was meeting us there. We got to Revere around 2:20 . Now the night before we got a text from the mission saying that the day before thanksgiving is going to be backed up with traffic. Now I thought It wouldn't be that bad. My trainers meeting I had to go to was at 3 so it takes like 25-30 min to get there. Now Elder Roughan and I left there and we were on the road by 2:30. The traffic was wicked bad and as soon as we were making a turn to cross over to Needham there was a closed road. So we had to take a huge detour and I ended up at the mission home by like 4-4:10. I walk down stairs and everyone just looks at me. Walking in there is all these trainers and trainees sitting down. I saw the APs and like 3 of my former APs just standing by the entrance. President Miller just had a huge smile on his face and said we have a seat for you over here. It was not the best situation. But he started to announce the sisters and then he announced the Elders and Elder Phillipsen and I  were the first to get called up. Afterwards I apoligezed for me being late. I don't want him to feel like his Father abandoned him... HAHAHA  But besides that we had a great week. We set a date with Franklin for the 7th of January. We haven't been able to see him cause of work but we had an awesome Plan of Salvation lesson and re explained to him the the Apostasy and we were able to set a date. That choice he has made is going to change is life. Like the Gospel its dependent on our choice. We can be redeemed from sin and pain. We can feel gods love for us and gain a testimony on the saving grace of Christs Everlasting Atonement. But it for starts off with that choice you make. Do we want to be truly happy? Well if we follow Jesus Christ I know we can be truly happy and that is my testimony.
Love you all.

"I'm getting a boy"

This week was awesome!!! This week Lynn made the choice to be baptized on Feb,14th. Elder Bagley and i were so happy. We have been seeing Lynn for 2 transfers. She has been progressing great. She is reading the Book Of Mormon everyday. She prays and comes to church. She is one of the best investigators that i have ever had. Most importantly is that she can feel the love Heavenly Father has for her. I hope that i will be in the area long enough to be at her Baptism. I hope to stay in this area at least 2 more transfers. I can finish my sons 12 weeks.
Oh yeah i'm getting a boy! I find out this Wednesday who i'm training. He will hopefully becoming in with 4 baptismal dates. We have Cheryl,Nick, and Lynn and we hope to set a date with our new investigator Pablo. CHeryl and Nick are the ones with Elder Bagley and I. Pablo is this half Brazilian half Japanese 17 year old genius. He is fluent in Japenese , Portuguese , and English. He goes around helping entrepreneur with their projects. As of right now we can only teach him at Dunkin Doughnuts for like 20 minutes. Because he is so busy helping  entrepreneurs . We came outside and he was driving a nice Audi. But he is so solid and wants to learn. Besides that we didn't do much. We did a lot of service.
But this week i wanted to bare my testimony on The Book Of Mormon. I have realized that the Book Of Mormon is really the keystone to our religion. I know that the Book Of Mormon is the most correct book then any book on earth. As a missionary i have the gift of the spirit. I can testify and bring the spirit to those i teach. But without them reading The Book Of Mormon it won't mean as much. People don't have a problem with tithing or fasting. What they really have an issue with is whether or not the Book Of Mormon is the real word of God. Is Joseph Smith a Prophet of God and did he restore the priesthood and that great plan that was given to us by a loving Heavenly Father. That is the real question that my investigators, members, and less actives face.
I can promise you that The Book Of Mormon is the word of god and by abiding in its precepts that we will have peace , joy, and Happiness. This also comes with faith and your willingness to give up your will to the lord. Put your trust in him.Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him. Job 13:15. I love you all have a great week.

We need to be long suffering, patient, and Charitable

Sweet week. So first we had some exchanges with our ZLS. Elder Asay and Elder Seineger. We had a blast we started off that day just going to service at Salvation Army. We go in and grab all the food from the van then lay it out for people on a table. Then they call out #s and we tell them how much food they can get. Its a really fun service we do it about 2 times a week. Then Elder Asay and I did some good tracting and picked up some Potential investigators. Hopefully we'll be able to pick them up.Then the next picture is Sister Blood just so excited for district lunch. We had a powerful district meeting. I called sister Pegram and Elder Cagle to do the training. The training was on the great Apostasy and extending Baptism on the first lesson. So we were given that assignment to train our districts on that when we were  at DLC(District Leadership Council). Anyways it went awesome and i know that the training we had will definitely help my district.

As you can see here we did some good service this week. Had to clean the rain gutters, Mow a lawn, and rake. We first helped clean a inactive families rain gutters. The Husband of our inactive member is not a member. He is the big dude with the cool beard. Were planning to eat at that there house and pick him up as an Investigator. The crazy part is that in that picture there is 2 sets of adorable twin girls. One is the inactives daughters and the other is there friends daughters. They were so cute. Anyways our Spanish Elders called us and asked if we could help them with service at there members house. You will see all of us in a big pile of leaves. Oh and hopefully you guys will get me doing a front flip into a pile of leaves. Here is a picture of us and lynn. She has the purple hair. She took us out to go and get cold stone and we resolved a little bit of her concerns. She said that she prayed for a baptismal date. She also said that she is close to setting one with us so we are super stoked about that. Hopefully My companion stays here for it. We get transfer text this Friday so i hope he stays. This last picture is of us and sister Herria. She will be feeding us on thanksgiving. She makes really good food😎 Besides that Nick and Cheryl are doing awesome . Nick is just ready to get baptized. His mom has some concerns. A lot having to do with nick and his progression in church. But were gonna be pray fully planning for each of our investigators.
Well to end my email of i would like to share my testimony. I have come to understand Patience and charity come hand and hand.2 Timothy 3: 10But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11 Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
We need to be long suffering, patient, and Charitable. Imagine our Heavenly Father looking down at his children. Knowing that we are fighting and arguing. Wars are coming and going because of the selfishness and the anger of men. Trying to be better then one another. When we really should be loving a person enough that you would like to see them on top. Have we ever stopped to imagine what our Heavenly Father is feeling right now? He knows our faults and our insecurities. He knows what we have done and what wrong we have done to others. But to think that he would give us a people with such anger a redeemer. Someone who knows us and loves us no matter what we have done. I hope that we can come to an understanding of Our Heavenly Fathers love for us and by doing so looking at other people like he looks at us. With love and patience. Just hoping that we would do the right thing. This is my testimony to all of you.
Love you all.

Next time we'll say the prayer on the couch...

Hey!

This week was pretty sweet. We set 2 Baptismal dates for December 3rd . Their names are Cheryl and Nick. Cheryl is nicks mom. Nick is 12 years old and Cheryl is in her 40s . We had an awesome lesson on the Plan of Salvation. Then we set that date. Nick was so excited . He came over to the chalk board and talked to me . He wrote up the topics of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He wrote

Faith

Repentance

Baptism

Receiving the Holy Ghost

And Enduring to the End.

He check marked Faith and then he said ok when are we going to Repent. I said that we would teach you on Sunday. He sat down and said ok so that's like 5 days until I get to repent. It made me so happy. He knows so much knowledge already. We drew out the plan of salvation and he got my chalk and drew a line going to the telestial kingdom. He said i don't want to go there. So then he drew another line going to the Celestial Kingdom. Half of me wanted to take his seat and just listen to what he has to say. He had awesome questions. Like Whats the telestial kingdom and how can I get to the Celestial kingdom. We're so pumped for them. Now his mom is a little hesitant. But we're going to be working really hard with them to help them feel the spirit.

Besides them our other investigators are doing really well. We started to read the Book of Mormon with her and teach her the lessons out of the Book of Mormon. We also picked up a former investigator named Cory. He has some mental issues. I'm pretty sure the place he is living at right now is a mental house but thats alright. He is a great guy. So we taught him how to pray and i aksed him will you pray with us on our knees. He was like no way that ground is so gross. He looked at Elder Bagley and said do you even know what your kneeling in. I look at it and its a old pile of vomit on the floor. HAHAHAHA it was so funny. Next time we'll say the prayer on the couch. We also have our investigator named Franklin. We just read some of the intro and enos with him you can tell he has real intent. He wants to understand and know if the Book of Mormon is true. We're planning on setting a date with him this week. Anyways we're really trying to reach our mission Goal of 50 baptisms in November and 50 in December.

Well, I would like to end with my testimony on the Bible. I love the Book of Mormon and know the truthfulness of its message. I also believe in the Bible and its clear message that we have a loving savior who died and was resurrected for us, so that we may be able to do the same thing and live with our Heavenly Father.

I love you all.

By following Jesus Christ, I can promise you, we will have everlasting peace and happiness

Hey everyone!!!!

This week we have seen a lot of blessings out in framingham. We picked up 3 new investigators and a baptismal date. We set a baptismal date with Fiona Amollo for Dec 3rd. Were gonna extend 3 more baptismal dates to Frank, sherral , and nick. So Elder Bagley and I were Tracting and we saw Frank coming out of his parents house. We went up to him and gave him a finding faith in Christ video and shared a quick message about our Heavenly Father. We saw him yesterday before church and we taught him the Restoration. We also went street contacting this week with our mini missionary and picked up Shian on the street. We also taught her about heavenly father. Oh yeah i forgot to mention that I got another mini missionary. He was DOPE! but we only had him for a couple of days. His name was Kyle he was 16 and he's from New Hampshire.

Yesterday morning we also picked up sherral and nick. Sherrals the Mom and Nick is her son. They want to be taught separately because nick wants to be baptized and he said that his mom is what is holding him back from being Mormon. Nick is very smart he has read the bible and hes going to start reading the Book Of Mormon. His mom has got a lot of good questions. So they want to be taught at seprate times because they have there own problems and concerns. Anyways were gonna teach them the Plan Of Salvation next.

This week in the last hour of church we taught everyone except for the young womens and the primary. We taught them about missionary work . It was an awesome lesson. We had a lot of good discussion. Someone actually said that the reason it was hard for him to bring his friend to the missionaries was because he didn't trust the missionaries. I was like oh CRAP. But not us , it was the missionaries before us. So that brought to my attention how important it is for us as missionaries to build trust with our members. So i'm planning to see everyone in our ward.

Now I want to end with my testimony that I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ blesses families. It has given me the best family in the world. Heavenly Father knew I would need a big family and i'm thankful for his plan for me and everyone who follows Jesus Christ. By following Jesus Christ, I can promise you, we will have everlasting peace and happiness.

Love you All!

The Book Of Mormon is the Keystone of our religion and through its teachings we will be able to return to our Heavenly Father

WOOO!! Framingham is Awesome!

This week elder Bagley and I really had to sit down and talk about how were going to see miracles in Framingham. Now this Area is a lot different then my last one . Out in Revere Their are a lot of ghettos . Not here... We have almost knocked on all the doors in this one ghetto part of town.  For weekly planning we came up with some ideas that we could try to get investigators. So we brought all these ideas to ward council yesterday. One of these ideas was a fireside on member missionary work. Instead I told the bishop/Ward council that we could just do it this upcoming Sunday for a class. We will be having everyone except the little kids join us for this lesson. Now the Bishop was a little bit stunned that I said we would be willing to do this with such short notice. But hey like it says in PMG(Preach My Gospel) you can't do anything until you find someone to teach. So we really want the members to go and do some missionary work. Invite there friends. But will see how it goes. I know it will be great and we will have an awesome lesson.

This week we also taught Lynn and we had an awesome lesson on Baptism and Confirmation. Except we couldn't finish it. But that's alright. Lynn Will be one of those investigators where it will take a while for her to get baptized. She doesn't want to get pushed. But she is really progressing. She is trying to read the Book of Mormon all the way through. Last time we talked she was on Jacob. She writes down everything she learns in her notebook and always comes to us with a few questions. Besides Lynn we mostly were finding investigators this past week. This last Saturday we set a goal of contacting 30 people. We contacted 26. But we saw some blessings from our works. We picked up this guy named Frank and gave him a Jesus Christ DVD. Were planning to meet with him this weekend. Another blessing was yesterday. Elder Bagley and I are walking to our next class and then a lady from our ward came up to us and said hey this is my friend and she is investigating the church. Her and her son and we want to have dinner with all of you next Sunday. In my head I was like WWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Lets gooooooo!!!!! so were gonna pick them up this week.

Now a few days ago we brought out Lynn's son who is a member. His name is Tony. He has been through a lot of things in his life. Because of stuff in his past he hurt his head and now he has Photographic memory. He read the Book of Mormon in 2 and a half hours and the bible in 3. He is a genius and he has a huge testimony of the Book of Mormon. He explained to us how people are extremely curios. When we give a Book Of Mormon out to someone they might just throw it on there book shelf or in a closet. But Humans being so curious sometime or another they will read it. I know that the Book Of Mormon is the convincing power of the divinity of Christ and his love for the people on earth. I know that the Book Of Mormon is the Keystone of our religion and that through its teachings we will be able to return to our heavenly father and I can promise that. Love yall

Jesus is the Christ and He needs his disciples to go spread the word of love and happiness

Whats up Everyone!

This week Was Sweet! So you all heard that i was getting transferred. I love Framingham so much! It is completely different from Revere. Revere is mostly city and Ghetto. But over here there is a lot of rich people. Its also woods every where. The trees are starting to change. Its really beautiful.
My companion is a stud. Elder Bagley is a great missionary. I have the great opportunity to follow up train him and to also be a district leader. We just had a District meeting this last week. I had them bring goals for this transfer. We also had a testimony meeting instead of a training. I just wanted to see where they are at so i know how i could best help them.
I live with the Spanish Elders. Their awesome! Elder Cagle and Elder Heppler. We all wake up 5 in the morning to go workout at a members house. We also are going to start up morning sports with the district and our STLs. I really want to bring Zion or unity into my district. In district meeting we had a goal to have a 100% member present lessons. I believe my District can do it. With much faith and diligence we can do anything. My district wants to work and wants to see miracles and i'm going to do my best to try to help them , Any way i can. Also this past week we had stake conference.
Elder Lawrence from the 70 came. He made a huge emphasis on member missionary work. Bring our less actives back to church. He brought up all these people who were less active and had them speak on how they came back to church and who helped them come back. Now getting someone baptized and making covenants with God is Amazing but re activating members is just as good.
So i got permission from the Aps to go back to Revere and be apart of Shalyn's baptism. I asked Elder Clare what time was the baptism the day before. He told me the time and he said Shalyn wants you to baptize her. I was so Happy. So we went down and the spirit just took control of my body. I Baptized her and she had the biggest smile on her face. I really wanted to give her a hug and say how proud i was of her but that wouldn't be the best thing to do. We got dressed and went back to the relief society room to hear the talk on the holy ghost. The spirit was telling me hey you need to go up there and say something. So after the talk on the holy ghost i walked up there and say hey bishop can i say something. I said it meant a lot to me cause the missionaries baptized my mom at her same age. The missionaries were a huge role in my life. Without the missionaries i wouldn't have the people and this good life i have.
My testimony is that Jesus is the Christ and He needs his disciples to go spread the word of love and happiness.
I love you all.
